Boys

Are very stupid sometimes. And its always the ones that are so smart that can be so dumb! Anyway, I am applying for a writing job with the magazine I currently work for so keep your fingers crossed for me! I am thankful for the job I have but I can not be a copy editor forever, it is sooooooooo boring! Visiting Washington soon so all you evergreens had better come to see me!!!!

Kisses!

oh, anything, please,
to lessen the ache of these bruises!

oh, anything, please,
to dull the sting that comes of waking
to find oneself alive!

I must admit

I do so love Boston in spring. I am enjoying being back. Still working a terrible job but I do have some prospects that are looking sunny. I think I am getting over my anger at the internet, we shall see.

Bean Town

Its nice on some level that you never change. I am back, settled in and starting new job next week;Fashion correspondent! A title too perfect for me I must say. Things are good for now, my brother is here, my grandmother is stable, new job, new chance.

Look out world, this woman is on a roll

The woman who raised me

My beloved grandmother, who at an advanced age took me and my brother in after our parents died, is very ill. I cannot express the depth of my woe. The doctors are giving her three months.

I will return to Boston this weekend and possibly relocate my life back to the east coast to be with her. I am named for her and I live for her. She is the reason I am obsessed with fifties fashion and style. The reason I am a writer and the reason I am a feminist with class and grace.

I love my Agnes

Hope for the best, good wishes and prayers are always welcome
